This Privacy Policy describes how Sprite Sheet Maker ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the sprite packing tool at spritesheetmaker.app.

1. Frames and packed files

Packing runs in your browser. Frame images you drop onto the maker, the preview, and the ZIP you download are processed on your device. We do not upload those files to our servers as part of the public maker.

2. Information we may collect

  • Usage data. If analytics are enabled (for example Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity), we may receive page views, device/browser type, and approximate location derived from IP. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers.
  • Account data (if you sign in later). Email and profile information from a sign-in provider, plus billing records if you purchase a plan. Account APIs may live on a separate backend host.
  • Support email. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address long enough to reply and to handle abuse reports.

3. What we do not collect from the maker

We do not collect Face ID, facial geometry, or other biometric templates. We do not need your sprite frames to operate the public packing UI.

4. Third-party services

Depending on how the site is configured, we may use:

  • Cloud hosting and a CDN to serve the website
  • Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics
  • A payment processor if paid plans are turned on
  • An identity provider (for example Google) if sign-in is turned on

5. Cookies

Essential cookies may keep a session if you sign in. Analytics cookies are optional in the sense that you can block them in your browser; the maker still works.

6. Data security

The site is served over HTTPS. You remain responsible for files stored on your own computer.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may ask us what personal data we hold (typically support email or an account), request deletion, or opt out of non-essential analytics. Because maker frames never reach us, we cannot retrieve or delete a sprite sheet from our servers.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. Do not send us personal information about a child. Sexual or exploitative content involving minors is prohibited; report it as described in the Acceptable Use policy.

9. International transfers

Hosting and analytics providers may process data outside your country. We use them only to run the website.

10. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page and changing the last-updated date.
